It's Minnesota FoodShare
The 2012 campaign to raise funds for food shelves in our community begins next week. This is a signature event in all Honeywell facilities in the Minneapolis area. Here are some hunger facts:
  • According to a September 2011 report by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, 10.3% of Minnesotans live in households that sometimes struggle to get enough food.

  • Lack of proper nutrition often leads to a number of costly health issues.
Be watching for announcements in From The Heart Weekly and in your facility, to see what your committee is planning. On behalf of the many volunteers working on these opportunities, please join in on the spirit of Minnesota FoodShare and give generously.
